In his letter to The Akshaya Patra Foundation, Dr V K Saraswat (Member, Niti Aayog and Chancellor, JNU), acknowledged the organisation’s efforts to provide mid-day meals to underprivileged children. He also appreciated this NGO for its noble and altruistic efforts in the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He also urged the citizens of India to donate to Akshaya Patra generously to create a generation of children who are both healthy and intellectually active.
