Akshaya Patra is implementing the initiative with the support of corporate donors and BYJU’s to bridge the digital divide and further digital inclusiveness by providing students belonging to economically weaker sections of society access to good quality, modern education free of cost.

Each tablet will also provide them access to JEE and NEET content.

Mr Adish Jain, said, We had the privilege of getting the benefits of quality education which enabled us to pursue professional careers and lead a good life. We are now looking forward to supporting bright and promising girls in our hometown, Ghaziabad. We hope that this initiative will empower many girls to aspire and achieve their dreams.”

Sri Bharatarshabha Dasa, National President and TrusteeAkshaya Patra said, “Our vision, ‘No child in India shall be deprived of education because of hunger,’ is in alignment with our conviction that education is one of the foremost ways to nurture a happy future of this country. We firmly believe that no child should remain uneducated due to the lack of access to the Internet or the right technology. We are immensely grateful to Mr Adish and Mrs Asha Jain for supporting our Digital Education Programme. Their support enables us to do more and bring about significant change in the lives of the children. We hope this is just the first of the many collaborations between both organisations in the years to come.”
