As a part of the CSR initiative, Isuzu has sponsored one Midday meal Distribution Vehicle to The AkshayaPatra Foundation Vijayawada for the distribution of meals to the government school children. These vehicles are custom-built with racks to store the stainless containers and also insulated for an ambient temperature.  The vehicles drop off the meals in the schools and on their return trip pick up empty containers. The mapping of the schools to the vehicles has also been done efficiently so that food is delivered on time. Each vehicle can reach upto 12-14 schools covering 1800 to 2000 children. 

Akshaya Patra foundation presently serves 13500 hot nutritious meals to school children and plans to expand it’s reach to other areas for 50000 children in the coming months once centralised kitchen get ready. The Akshayapatra Foundation  President Sri Satya Gaura Chandra Dasa appreciated Isuzu’s generous contribution in the service of underprivileged. In this programme Vamsi Dhara Dasa and Maha Krathu dasa and Isuzu and Akshaya Patra staff participated in the programme.
