Akshaya Patra received ‘Great Place to Work’ certification for the seventh time in a row

Bengaluru, January 25, 2023: The Akshaya Patra Foundation, an implementing partner of the Government of India’s PM Poshan Programme, has been certified as ‘Great Place to Work’ by the Great Place to Work Institute for 2023. This is the seventh time the foundation has been recognised for its employee-friendly welfare and well-being policies.

The foundation, which runs the world’s largest school lunch programme by providing wholesome food to over 2 million children across India every day, has been consistently introducing many employee-friendly measures.

The GPTW assessment survey found it excelling in the trust index which comprises credibility of management, respect for people, fairness at the workplace, pride and camaraderie between people. For instance, Akshaya Patra scored higher in the ‘trust factor’ as compared to last year, which resonates with the organisation’s continuous efforts to improve its work environment.
