Akshaya Patra’s Food Relief Efforts: Cooked Meal Distribution

Since the beginning of the lockdown in March 2020, Akshaya Patra has used its kitchens and vehicles, to cook and distribute hot, nutritious meals to migrant workers and people in vulnerable communities. By March 15, 2021, the Foundation had served over 6 Crore Cooked Meals to people in need. Through Food Relief Efforts, Akshaya Patra has cumulatively distributed over 12.2 Crore meals, including cooked meals and dry rations over the past year.
