On December 29, 2018, Shri R Kamalakannan – Minister for Education, Government of Puducherry, along with Shri Sivaraman – Joint Director, Government of Puducherry,and other officials from the education department of the union territory, visited Akshaya Patra’s Vasanthapura kitchen. They were taken on a detailed kitchen tour and witnessed the Foundation’s operations and various activities at the kitchen. They were appreciative of innovations such as the roti-making machine and idli machine.
