Platinum win at the 2015 Hermes Creative Awards

Akshaya Patra received Platinum in the 2015 Hermes Creative Awards for its Annual Report 2013-14! This international competition ‘for creative professionals who are involved in the concept, writing and design for traditional and emerging media’, had approximately 6,000 entries from the United States, Canada and several other countries around the world. The Platinum position, the highest honour of the Awards, was granted to only about 15 per cent of the participants. Gold was given to about 22 per cent, and 11 per cent received honourable mention.

The Hermes Creative Awards recognise the exceptional work produced in the industry, while also promoting the philanthropic nature of creative professionals. The awards are administered and judged by members of the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The members of the AMCP are professionals across the fields of marketing, communication, media production, public relations, advertising, web and freelancers.

Hermes Creative Awards has grown to be such a versatile platform that entries range from individual contributors to Fortune500 companies and media conglomerates. The entries to this competition are judged based on the criteria of creativity and available resources for each admission. With nearly 200 sections of entries, the categories for the year 2015 were broadly divided into Print Media; Public Relations and Communications; Electronic Media, Social Media and Interactive Media; and Pro Bono.
