Akshaya Patra’s Vrindavan unit, held an ISTM-NGO attachment programme on 2 and 3 November, 2015. Over 30 participants; all Assistants to the Secretary from various Ministries, like the Ministry of Home Affairs, Urban Development, Petroleum and Natural Gas attended this attachment programme. The topics and agenda covered for the programme included understanding the structure and working of NGOs, interaction with external environment including Government agencies working at the field level, site visits, interaction with beneficiaries, role in delivery of public service schemes of Government, role of NGOs in partnering with Government for implementation of development programmes, stakeholder’s participation and more.
