Himalaya has worked towards bringing good health and happiness to all. This very spirit is the foundation of their partnership with Akshaya Patra for the last four years.

This year, they are continuing the association by sponsoring the Mid-Day Meal Programme for 7,000 school children. They also donated four food distribution vehicles on 29 August 2019 where Mr Philipe Haydon, CEO and Mrs Jayashree Ullal, CFO handed over the vehicle keys to Shri Chanchalapathi Dasa, Vice-Chairman of The Akshaya Patra Foundation at H.K. Hill kitchen in Bengaluru. This will help the Foundation in its logistics and transportation of the cooked mid-day meals to school children. The Mid-Day Meal Programme has been instrumental in decreasing dropout rate and attendance in government schools. They have also sponsored the education expenses of 270 meritorious students.

Himalaya hopes that through such initiatives, they can enable students, the future of our nation, to get a healthy start in life!
