On 29 April 2023, DP World hosted five mid-day meal beneficiaries from The Akshaya Patra Foundation for an exciting fan experience during Delhi Capitals match. His Excellency Dr Abdulnasser Alshaali, Ambassador of the UAE to India and DP World representative, joined the children and presented a donation cheque to the NGO to support the implementation of PM POSHAN Abhiyaan.

Earlier that week, 14 of Akshaya Patra’s beneficiaries met Delhi Capitals players Axar Patel, Mitchell Marsh, and Anrich Nortje as part of a special meet and greet session organised by DP World. The children had a fun-filled day interacting and playing garden cricket with the players at the ITC Maurya grounds.
