Cyclone ‘Titli’ wreaked havoc in Srikakulam and Vizianagaram districts of Andhra Pradesh on Thursday, 11 October 2018.  As an immediate relief, The Akshaya Patra Foundation began distributing food to affected people of cyclone hit Palasa Srikakulam from Friday, 12th October night. On 13th October, the NGO served breakfast, lunch, and dinner to around 10,000 people. Akshaya Patra plans to continue its service until 15 October 2018.
