Centralised kitchen project for Ashram-Shalas in Maharashtra

A MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) was signed with the Maharashtra Government and the Tata Trust to facilitate the setting up of a centralised kitchen project in the state that will provide wholesome food to Ashram-Shalas. 
 Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis said, “This Centralised Kitchen will help us provide nutritious food to the Ashram-Shalas which are run by Tribal Development Department and by NGOs”. He added “From December 15, we will launch it for the entire state, especially in the districts where malnutrition is prevalent.”
