Impact
In its capacity as the implementing partner of the Government’s flagship school feeding programme, Akshaya Patra strives to address classroom hunger and malnutrition. The anchor programme is success evidenced with a high Social Return on Investment (SROI), demonstrating profound results in areas of child nutrition, education and overall wellbeing. Through the school feeding programme, we are able to invest in human development at various levels and aid the nation’s pursuit of two critical UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): SDG 2 – Zero Hunger and SDG 4: Quality Education.
