Akshaya Patra congratulates its beneficiary school – Government Lower Primary School (GLPS) Veerenahalli South-4, Bengaluru, Karnataka – on receiving the Swachh Bharat – Swachh Vidyalaya Puraskar 2016! This award is conferred upon the school by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India.

Another feather was added in the cap of this school in September 2016, when one of its teachers – Mrs N Jalajakshi – was awarded the Best Teacher Award 2016 at the State Level Pride of the Best Teacher Awards – 2016, by Shri Sagara Sangamam Cultural Academy and Priya Darshan Foundations.
