PJ Margo Private Ltd

PJ Margo Private Ltd, a Joint Venture between the Jaipurias and Certis Biologicals, USA (a wholly owned subsidiary of MITSUI, Japan) is a pioneer in the extraction of Azadirachtin from Neem seeds, having set up the world’s 1st commercial extraction facility in Karnataka in 1992. The Company also manufactures Bio pesticides & Bio fertilizers of microbial origin as well as Bio stimulants derived from humic substances. Most of Margo’s products are certified for use in organic farming by International Certifying organizations like Institute of Marketecology (IMO) and ECOCERT etc. PJ Margo has partnered with Akshayapatra since FY 2017-18 sponsoring Mid-day meals for government school children, providing Distribution Vehicles and Kitchen equipments for Akshayapatra kitchens in Bangalore

HDB Financial Services (HDBFS

HDB Financial Services (HDBFS) is a leading Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) that caters to the growing needs of an Aspirational India, serving both Retail & Commercial Clients. Their CSR mission is to contribute to the social and economic development of the community through a series of interventions. HDB Financial is one of the esteemed donors of The Akshaya Patra Foundation and currently has sponsored mid-day meals to 10,099 children in Vrindavan as well as major kitchen equipments in the Centralized Kitchen at Vrindavan.

HDFC Life

HDFC Life is one of the leading partners of The Akshaya Patra Foundation. The company is sponsoring mid-day meals for more than 2,000 children in Vadodara, Gujarat. They are supporting Akshaya Patra through cause marketing initiative. HDFC Life had done a campaign with BAncassurance channel last year called Pankh wherein for each policy sold, one child would be supported. Through this campaign, HDFC Life supported more than 900 children.

HDFC Securities Limited

HDFC Securities Limited is a financial services intermediary and a subsidiary of HDFC Bank, a private sector bank in India. HDFC securities was founded in the year 2000 and is headquartered in Mumbai with branches across major cities and towns in India. As a stock broking company, we have been serving a diverse customer base of retail and institutional investors, since 2000. HDFC Securities has partnered with Akshaya Patra to help it build the infrastructure that can help sustain the ever increasing demand for Mid-DAY Meals across India.

HAL

The Akshaya Patra Foundation’s 58th kitchen, sponsored by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), was inaugurated by Shri R. Madhavan, the Chairman and Managing Director of HAL, in Jalahalli on 18 August 2021, Bengaluru, Karnataka. This state-of-the-art infrastructure has the capacity to cook over 7,500 meals every day with due adherence to international standards of food safety and hygiene. HAL has sponsored the kitchen as part of its CSR project. Hot, nutritious meals reach the beneficiaries – the school children, who eagerly wait in anticipation for the blue bus, which ferries their meals to reach their campus. Shri R. Madhavan, the Chairman and Managing Director of HAL, said, “Corporate Social responsibility is an integral part of HAL. HAL has been taking CSR initiatives as a “call from within’ even before it was officially mandated. The CSR activities of HAL are tuned towards improving the quality of life of the socially & economically backwards groups and marginalized & weaker sections of the Society, in the vicinity of its operational areas. HAL has always been striving to meet the needs of the people through its various community development activities. Contributing towards establishment of the Guniagrahara Kitchen of the Akshaya Patra Foundation, is yet another step taken by HAL in giving back to the Society. The above Kitchen, designed to serve nutritious food to the School going children, will not only eradicate hunger but will also go a long way in ensuring students’ attendance. With this, I extend my heartiest compliments to the teams from the Akshaya Patra Foundation and HAL, instrumental in establishing the Kitchen and wish all the very best for its future operations.”

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL)

Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited(HPCL), a Navratna public sector oil and natural gas company, has been continuously working towards uplifting the vulnerable sections of society through its CSR interventions. HPCL focuses on identifying gaps in the existing system and bridging them, thereby creating long-term, sustainable impact rather than creating parallel systems. Towards this, HPCL has joined hands with The Akshaya Patra Foundation to provide hot and nutritious meals to over 20,000 students studying in Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada. During September 2020, the families of HPCL employees helped Akshaya Patra in Covid 19 food relief by supporting over 2000 children with Dry Grocery Kits.

HSBC

HSBC in India has been active in the development of the Indian banking industry – even giving India its first ATM in 1987. HSBC’s origins in India date back to 1853 when the Mercantile Bank of India was established in Mumbai. The bank has grown steadily and now offers products and services to corporate and commercial banking clients and retail customers. HSBC partnered with Akshaya Patra to bring relief for the marginalized section of the country affected by Corona. Thanks to Akshaya PATRA and HSBC association, thousands of people across India got their everyday meals when the whole country was battling with the second and third wave of the pandemic.

Huawei

Huawei is a leading global provider of information and communications technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices. Huawei as a part of its Corporate Social Responsibility has partnered with The Akshaya Patra Foundation to promote Education, Health and Community Development. Huawei is supporting the Mid-Day Meal Programme alongside extending CapEx support for kitchens in Kakinada, Vrindavan, Bengaluru and Hyderabad.
