Their core activities include safeguarding assets, lending money, making payments and accessing the capital markets on behalf of their clients. Citicorp financial supports over 9000 school students in Thane.

CLP India

CLP India is one of the largest foreign investors in the Indian Power sector with investments in conventional and renewable power generation. The company has one of the most diverse portfolios including a Gas fired Plant in Gujarat, a Coal fired plant in Haryana, Wind and Solar farms across seven States. CLP India invests in the development of communities around its plants with a special focus on – Health & sanitation; education & skill building, and creating infrastructures. CLP India has partnered with The Akshaya Patra Foundation to sponsor meals for 5,000 children at Hubli, Karnataka and has sponsored a kitchen in Mahbubnagar, Telangana. CLP India has also committed to sponsor 10,000 meals for three academic years starting 2019-20.

The organization has supported Akshaya Patra since 2018 and have helped serve hot and nutritious mid-day meals to 2000 plus children of Government and aided schools. They been supporting to provide meals to specially abled children and daily laborers children as well in the past year.

In 2018-19, Credit Suisse partnered with The Akshaya Patra Foundation and sponsored Akshaya Patra mid-day meals for 8,145 children of Government-aided schools in Bellary and Nathdwara. To uplift the noble cause, they have also sponsored for building a kitchen to feed 25,000 school going children in Jorhat, Assam.

Crompton

“Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited is one of the leading consumer companies in India with over 75 years old brand legacy. They operate across various segments – LED Lighting, Fans, Pumps, Water Heaters, Air Coolers and Small Domestic Appliances. With a revenue of over INR 45bn and 10,000+ SKUs to choose from, Crompton is a household name in India. The brand has a rich legacy associated with great quality, reliability, superior engineering capability and product design. It also resonates with an immense amount of trust. Over the last few years, they have launched some breakthrough products like India’s first anti-dust fan and anti-bacterial LED bulb. Their CSR programme, UJJVAL DEEP, is designed to address some major concerns in society today – employment, environment, empowerment and engagement. Crompton has focussed on communities living in the vicinity of their manufacturing and processing facilities. Crompton began its collaboration with Akshaya Patra in October 2019 and has been providing mid-day meals for over 7,000 children across 41 Government schools close to their manufacturing facility in Padra near Vadodara, Gujarat. They also plunged into the COVID-19 efforts by providing 90,000 hot and nutritious meals to affected communities across Vadodara. Crompton’s employees have also actively engaged with underserved communities through various volunteering initiatives”

DGVCL

Pursuant to direction from Government of Gujarat for reorganization of the power sector in the state, Gujarat Electricity Board has been unbundled into separate seven Companies with functional responsibilities for generation, transmission, distribution and trading of electricity with complete autonomous operations. Accordingly, the distribution undertakings and functions of the Southern Distribution Zone of the erstwhile GEB stand transferred to and vest in Dakshin Gujrat Vij Company Limited.The company was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on 15th September, 2003, primarily to carry out distribution of electricity to retail and bulk consumers and has become operational effective from 1st April 2005. The Company is engaged in distribution of electricity in 7 districts namely Bharuch, Narmada, Surat (except part of Surat City), Tapi, Dangs, Navsari and Valsad in South Gujarat. The Company is a wholly owned subsidiary Company of Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited, a government Company.

Dewan Housing Finance Corporation Limited has been providing easy access to affordable Housing Finance to realize home-ownership aspirations of millions of lower and middle income families in semi-urban and rural India. DHFL was established in 1984 with the goal of transforming the lives of Indian households by enabling access to home ownership through the inception of DHFL. DHFL has been an esteemed donor of Akshaya Patra and has sponsored mid-day meals for around 20,000 children in Guwahati located in the north-eastern state of Assam.
