To improve the standard of living of rural communities, the Foundation invests in infrastructure and social services. The responsible practices in the areas of environmental protection and conservation of natural resources have resulted in path-breaking results. In addition, the Grant-In-Aid initiative has rendered financial support to worthwhile social and environmental projects. Over the past years, Biocon Foundation sponsored meals for thousands of school & anganwadi children and pregnant & lactating women towards the goal of attaining better health and educational outcomes in Karnataka and Telangana.

Cargill has been supporting Akshaya Patra since last three years in providing nutritious mid-day meals to children and so far, has supported 1,336 children in Bengaluru. Cargill has also extended significant support towards Akshaya Patra’s COVID-19 Relief Feeding Service in Bengaluru, Jaipur, Ahmadabad, Pune, and NCR.

Chevron Phillip with its joint venture partners, operate 33 manufacturing and research centers. Chevron Philips Chemical has sponsored mid-day meals for 3,473 children across India.

CISCO, with a mission to power an inclusive future, is focusing on addressing social issues where they believe they can have significant and lasting effects by applying their unique expertise. Since 2007, CISCO has been supporting TAPF in its Mid-Day Meal Programme. Over this 12 year plus relationship with Cisco, over 7 Crore meals have been served to deserving children. CISCO also supports TAPF in its various disaster relief initiatives across India. Most recently as part of the COVID-19 Pandemic relief efforts in wave one & two, CISCO has come forward to support TAPF’s COVID Relief Programme by contributing to the serving of cooked meals and distribution of Dry Ration Kits to vulnerable communities in various states of India.
