During FY 2020-21, as the society was reeling against pandemic, the Company reached out to the needy through various initiatives including health, sanitation, education, skill development etc. MIDHANI supported Akshaya Patra’s COVID-19 Relief Feeding Service by contributing towards Happiness Kits for over 700 children at Kothagudam and a customized food delivery vehicle for Akshaya Patra Kitchen at Kandi, Sangareddy.

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI), an umbrella organisation for operating retail payments and settlement systems in India, is an initiative of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) under the provisions of the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007, for creating a robust Payment & Settlement Infrastructure in India. Apart from supporting Akshaya Patra feed more than 1.5 Lakh meals during the first wave of COVID, NPCI also sponsors Mid-Day Meal for 77,719 children across 9 locations in India
